Personally, I'd only like there to be full-on, TS3-style story progression if I can switch it off. Now TS4 sims do get jobs and promotions now when your playing other households. A good story progression feature would stop this I'm sure especially if it only allowed it to happen to only flirty sims who might be tempted to cheat. What I don't like is married sims becoming love birds with someone else when you change households. It is true TS4 does have some light story progression now but it's buggy. Well in TS3 your sims would get jobs,promotions,teminated,find love and get married when you played other households and you didn't need mods. I think most of the people don't know what story progression is because they played with mods in The Sims 3. You're right, they just don't marry and have kids on their own. I don't understand why there are constant threads about the lack of story progression in TS4 when there is in fact SP in the game. * In TS4 Sims no longer merge households. * In TS4 Sims no longer get married on their own. There are on two differences in TS3 and TS4.
The Sims 4 already has story progression.
